NH3 –Fall NH3 application has come to an end across most regions as sub-zero temperatures and snow move in. –Spring NH3 price indications are expected to be released early next week. –NH3 supply looks to be long, both domestically and internationally. –There are no major logistical issues at this time.
UREA –International prices have soared over the last seven days due to hoarding and curtailments in production. –NOLA values have jumped, but a lack of purchasing at the retail level is preventing inland values from catching up as quickly. –There are no major logistical issues at this time.
UAN –This week’s urea frenzy has stabilized the UAN market, with buyers stepping in to cover orders. –Global prices have firmed up, with Egypt out of the UAN market due to gas curtailments and tax restrictions. –Supply will remain snug heading into spring, and with the U.S. now being cheaper than global markets, UAN exports will likely increase and lead to an even tighter portfolio.Read More About: fertilizer, market update
